I just did something that most people would dread
- it all started when I accidentally clicked on a link which exposed a virus that started killing any sanity in my computer. Due to the fact that it was malfuctioning and well pass save mode, I had to reformat the computer. I backed up all my data one-by-one, obsessively pining over what I’ve missed. Yet it never hit me until I had click the reformat, restore factory settings button… I had forgot to backup one except one piece – my emails in OUTLOOK!
so that’s pretty much 2 or 3 years of emails gone.
I was sad for a moment, then I realise there’s other bad things which are going on in the world, so this is like a little prick.
I’ve been watching the olympics for the last few days and the opening/closing ceremonies were fantastic! Best ever. I’m not sure whether any other country might be able to repeat it – I also loved the venues and coverage and of course, Michael Phelps! I’m sure every girl must be pining over him right now. It’s not his looks or his medals, but his sweetness and the fact that he loves his mother which is appealing. (did you see him jumping up to thank his mother after his 8th gold medal??? now that’s sweet)

Anyway, I’m most happy that politics did not get mixed with sports and that it was a fantastic event with an awesome ending. (what we all hope life would be like
) Every country has it’s problems, but it shouldnt ruin an event which encourages global unity.

Onto other news, I’ve uploaded a demo of a song I’m working on… check it out: http://www.myspace.com/kalyankymusic. It’s called JUST WANNA BE! I wrote it at a time where I felt as if life was collapsing down on me and I had to keep telling myself to just keep going and keep moving because there’s no point in giving up. it only makes situation worse
